NATURAL
RUBBER SVR CV 50
SVR CV50 is a constant viscosity grade. It is produced by adding hydroxylamine neutral sulfate (HNS) and peptizer to the field latex before coagulation with acid. The coagulum is allowed to mature for some hours, reduced to crumbs by passing through a crusher, crepers, a shredder, dried and pressed into bales. The hydroxylamine inhibits the storage hardening reaction in natural rubber, which leads to an increase in its Mooney viscosity. Mooney vicosity (MV) range is 50 ± 5.
